Like most people we felt a lot of trepidation when embarking on getting an extension built, particularly when getting quotes, but your company’s work from drawing board to completion has been extremely professional, honest and reliable with the costs being reasonable.
You kept to the timescales you specified, weather permitting, and dealt with any unforeseen problems professionally and efficiently.
We appreciated that we were always kept informed of progress, that everyone involved was open to dealing with our questions (even stupid ones) and that when we requested additional work we received helpful and useful advise.

Everyone who has seen the extension has been very appreciative of it with the block paving at the front and patio at the rear drawing a lot of admiring comments. The fact that cutting the grass now takes half the time it used to is a big plus.

I contracted A Room At The Top for the construction of a two-storey extension to my existing house. The total floor area of the new works was approximately 40m2 and also consisted of some internal alterations to the existing dwelling.
In my opinion the work was carried out to a high professional standard and within programme. At an early stage an unforeseen drainage route was encountered whilst excavation was being undertaken. The proactive approach and knowledge of building regulations enabled a solution to be implemented which did not cause delay to the programme or incur additional cost. As work progressed within the existing dwelling disruption was kept to a minimum and the area was kept tidy throughout the project. We found the workforce to be reliable, friendly and professional.
In conclusion, I was pleased with all aspects and am delighted with the new extension. I would highly recommend them.
